Do you think the Leeches are part of the schism, like how the crows and the eagles and the snakes are?

I don't think the Leeches are allied to the bad side of VFD; they seem more like a random destructive force of nature, equally harmful to all. They're probably too stupid to be trained, as well.

I don't think the leeches are picky as to whether they eat volunteers or villains. There's nothing to suggest they've been trained - as Antenora said, they're probably too wild and unruly to serve any purpose.

It's an interesting suggestion Question Mark. But as was already said they seem too wild to be trained. However, perhaps like the medusoid mycelium they could prove to be a useful weapon. What I mean to say is that any side of the schism could come into possession of them and then direct them at their enemy.

There are many things we'll never know until Book 13. And some things that we won't know after the book comes out.

I think that she is still alive, but isn't going to be a big part if she comes back in book 13.
