Laurie, Larry, and li'l Linda Lotsaluck, I think. But I never had the cover of The Pony Party; it didn't come with the U.K. edition of the U.A.

What kind of cruel parent makes their child go through life (at least until the stage where they can legally change their name) with the name 'Larry'? But that's offtopic.
On another note, is TBL all going to be letters? Are we going to get non-letter things if Snicket wants to tie a few other things up?

Seems like it's all going to be correspondance, aside from the photographs, punch-out letters (I think this refers to letters of the alphabet, as mentioned in another synopsis) and a double-sided poster. That's probably the sort of thing we've discussed in the official speculation thread for TBL.

So in other words, quite a lot of it is not correspondance.
That's the first time I've seen the close-up of the TBL cover...it looks really nice.
"Punch-out letters" might mean letters you can punch out of the book (think those FunFax things) and assemble together like a mini-jigsaw to reveal a large clue about Beatrice, or book 13, or something.

But I am worst than someone who didn't even get it in UK.
We have it in Manila, but the heck, I bought the paperback instead of the hardcover! Sucker!

I'm talking about what Dante said regarding TUA which he didn't get in the UK (US edition, so he had to order online, I think).

We do have the U.A. in the U.K. - it's just that the cover that the British publishers of the books did was absolutely atrocious. Although I really should have ordered from the U.S., but I didn't know at the time how rockin' the U.S. cover was. For more of my enraged ranting on this subject, read this thread! And remember kids, don't play with fire!

Dunno if this has been mentioned, but "The Complete Wreck", featuring books 1-13, is out shortly after B13: www.amazon.com/gp/product/0061119067/sr=8-37/qid=1145902244/ref=sr_1_37/002-4784100-3569656?%5Fencoding=UTF8Kinda pointless when there are two collections featuring books 1-12 already. If it's in a really nice, original box with some free gifts like the Horrendous Heap (but NOT like in the Cumbersome Collection) it might be more worth it. Why is it not featuring all the add-ons, including BOTH blank books? HarperCollins could probably make more money that way.

I think they've been updating the full collections every time a new book comes out, hence we've had a full collection of all 11 books, and all 12 books, etc. The Horrendous Heap (or was it Horrid? I forget) looked decent, but it already had an advantage in that it was the four box sets rather than just all the books. As for why they aren't featuring all the add-ons, I guess they just want one for the main series. Plus, a collection of thirteen books is expensive and ridiculous enough already; I'm not sure how many people would actually be willing to buy one with, what would it be, about 18 books (TBlankB, NNotations, the new PPuzzles which seems to have vanished, the U.A., TBL). In fact, yeah, I doubt they'd really get many sales of that, so it probably wouldn't be worth the effort, although it would be convenient for the handful of absolute completionists just entering the series (or, say, somebody from the U.K. who wanted all the U.S. editions and had more money than sense).

Certainly Horrendous.
So maybe they're planning a seperate collection of the add-ons?
And furthermore, was the THH on sale outside of Amazon if it was basically just the four boxsets in shrinkwrap, or is that a placeholder Amazon forgot to replace?

Depends on whether the box sets have ever been sold outside of online bookstores. I've never seen 'em, but the U.K. doesn't really have any box sets, which is a great shame. As for a collection of the add-ons separately, that would probably be a wise idea. They could call it The Cheap Collection, or The Rueful Rip-Off.

...If they were honest, I'd actually have a lot of respect for them, even if it was just a cheap money-spinner.
