Today I was confronted by a boy I don't like, and he said: "Would you like to come worship the devil with me tonight? " Sounds like the title of a rather lurid short story. I just said that I had other plans. I know not how truthful this guy's pickup-line-like-statement was, but you have to wonder.... Since I'm not Christian, I have nothing against devil worshippers, unless they choose me as a virgin sacrifice, in which case I hate them. What do you think? Are there devil worshippers at our schools and is that necessarily all bad?

There's a guy at my school named Cody ________. He's a fairly new student, and he came near the end of the year because he was expelled from his last school, for smoking pot at school. Anyway, back when he first came, he told people he was a devil worshipper. Me and my friend Tiffany didn't really believe him, since 12-to-13-year-old devil worshippers arn't common. We figured that he made up the story to attract ladies [?] and friends.
Anyway, not to long after he came, people started noticing that he was acting weird. No, I'm not talking about doodling the devil on his assignments or anything, I'm talking very disturbing things. One day, during gym, he took a sherp rock and sliced all the way down his arm. He them proceded to lick up the blood. Now, this was a pretty disturbing thing to witness. People were too scared to want to "help" him. Things like this continued. In the next month, he was caught sucking on razor blades. He was also found gnashing at his thumb with his teeth until is was bloody and torn up, then sucking it. Eeks.
All through this time he claimed to be worshipping the devil. I have nothing against devil worshippers per se, but if this is some kind of requirement, it seems like not such a great thing to get caught up in. Why no students or teachers or parents helped this kid is unknown to me. Well, i didn't do it cause I was semi-afraid of him. Anyway, whether this kid was really a "devil worshipper", or if he was just a disturbed self-mutilator, I don't know. But I do know that I will NOT readily start worshipping the devil.

I am christian which is creepy to hear this, even tho when i was watching TV once there was a special on, "Satan worshipers". When i saw that it freaked me out! This whole gang of devil worshipers just kidnapped a woman offed the streets and ate her! They really ate her! OH, are there any christains here? I feel so lonley hearing no-one else is a christian.

Devil worshippers? Maybe he was joking. It's likely that he was, but you can't ignore the chance that he wasn't. Let me fill you in on a little more detail: -The boy in question was a punk, but that does not necessarily imply that he was a devil worshipper. I also think he's somewhat disturbed, but I'm not sure why. May just be semi-normal teenage depression. -At the time he spoke to me, I was wearing a pentacle necklace. Many people see my necklace and assume that(and sometimes ask me if) I'm a devil worshipper. They are misinformed. The pentacle I wear is pointing up. It is a symbol of good magick. Remember that.

The guy probably was joking but: -My room is full of Pengtagramms and I have many necklaces with the Pentragramm on(not including Sir Gawains Glyph ). -I am not a devil worshipper. -I agree with Tocuna as I am not Christian, but have nothing against Devil Worshippers.

I only disagree with worshippers if:
a. They don't truly worship the devil, they just smoke pot. b. they're the "I'm a nonnkonfermest!!!!!!!!!1 i wrashipp the devul!!!!!!!!1 im sooooooooo kewl!" c. They make gruesome, (or any), animal or people sacrifices.

I don't know if it's jsut my ignorance or what, but I'd prefer if devil worshippers stood as far away from me as possible. This is because if people worship the devil, they worship pure evil and disorder. And if they worship pure evil and disorder, they might as well do all the pure evil and disordered things under the sun. And if they do all the pure evil and disordered things under the sun, then they might as well make my life as unfortunate as theirs. The devil isn't a sign of pure glory, as far as I'm concerned. And I'm a strong believer that if people aren't going to commit suicide, they should make their life as just as possible. I wouldn't be able to tolerate devil worshippers, the same way I'm wouldn't be able to tolerate bullies.

I agree with rhapsody that devil worshippers aren't the sort of people you want near you. There are many stories about them commitng murder and animal sacrifices, but some of these reports are not well verified.
Something for all of you to remember: People who doodle demons on their notepads are not necessarily devil worshippers. They may be aspiring fantasy artists. I say this because I am one of these people(artists). Thanks for listening.

Well, there are things called Religious Colts that... Well, if you are like a nerdy sort of person or don't have a dad or a mom, or if you just don't fit in, they'll say that they can become your friends if they do things for them... Some are driven to murder themselves... I believe, my mom said this, that they all worship the devil... They were ties... I've seen three in my town, though I've never talked to any.

Go ahead, worship "Satan". I couldn't care less. Just don't hurt animals. Or people. As long as you ain't hurting nothing, go ahead. I don't beleive in the manifested state of evil know as Satan(I don't beleive in evil at all) but if you do, and you want to, rock on freaky buddy! This Cody sounds frightning. Probably more crazy than a "devil worshipper". Is he still around?

Well, there are things called Religious Colts that... HAHAHA. Yes, there are some overly spiritual young horses. AHAHA. I hope you mean Religious cults. Well, if you are like a nerdy sort of person or don't have a dad or a mom, or if you just don't fit in, they'll say that they can become your friends if they do things for them... Not really. That's sort of the media'd up version of it. Anyone can get sucked into a cult. Families can join cults without knowing it. "Popular" people with two equally loving parents can join. And they don't really make you "do" stuff for them. It's mostly about money and power. The bottom line is the most cult leaders want control of people. Large groups are preferable. Yeah. I believe, my mom said this, that they all worship the devil... No they don't. Not even most of them. There are way more Christian cults than devil worshipping cults. Christianity is easier to feel "safe" with. Well, more that worshipping the devil, anyway. I'm assuming you mean they wear ties. Unless you mean that they believe they were neckties in a past life. Ahaha. I think you may be thinking of mormons. They arn't a devil worshipping cult. They're not even really a christian cult. They have some cult-like ways, but they are a legit religion. Sub-religion, anyway. I've seen three in my town, though I've never talked to any. How could you tell? What distinguished them from other people? Their tell-tale ties?

At my school there are ALOT of emo's and goths, and alot of them claim to 'worship the devil'. Although, I know alot of them only do it because they're friends do, but the serious ones are freaky. I'm not a christian, but it's a little disturbing when i see people at school with slits down their wrists from where they've cut themselves, and they wear eyeliner all over their faces in pictures of spiderwebs, fangs, knives, etc. I've never actually seen them suck their blood, but i've heard rumours and stuff. And I know that some of them are into witch craft too.
