Yea! That's the one I'm going to too. (Setnick and Mary too, maybe.)

Hopefully. I went to the Naperville signing last year, at any rate. I'd really like to go again.
I have a brilliant idea of going to an LS book signing and taking along an accordion, then when he asks for one I'll totally have an accordion in addition to whoever's supposed to and could volunteer it.
Slight problem: I don't have an accordion.

MAJOR EXCITING NEWS!
I found out that Lemony Snicket is coming to my town! I found out that he is coming to Alverno College in Milwaukee, less than 10 miles from my house. I'm still planning on going to Naperville too, but now I'll be able to see him twice in three days!
This stop on his tour hasn't even been officially announced yet. I e-mailed the store just out of curiosity. The official information will be announced in September. Stay tuned.

But this might be his last book tour. Grandma will still be there later. (Gigi is just kidding. Family, and especially grandmothers, are more important than Lemony Snicket.)

Heh. I'm not sure that I'd agree with that. I'm a terrible daughter and so on, but whatever.
Anyway, that's great news. I don't think he'd ever come to my city.
The weekend after he comes to Naperville I'm definitely going up there (or to a nearby suburb, at any rate); my cousin's having an engagement party or something of the sort. That's the same weekend the Capitol Steps are in Naperville. Two eventful weekends in a row, that's exciting.

I was just thinking about that appearance at Bumbershoot on September 1st. It's before The End and even before The Beatrice Letters. I assume he will still sign books after the show. Do you bring your own book for him to sign?

Do you bring your own book for him to sign? Yes, he will sign books. I went to this event last year, at any rate, and he signed books, even though TPP wasn't out yet. You can bring your own books, but there was also this table off which you could buy all the ASOUE books.

I was hoping you would respond, SnicketFires. So is it one per person, or will he sign as much as you bring?

I'm not sure; I only brought one thing per person (one thing for me, one thing for my mum, and I saw him twice, so I got four things signed). It might have been only one thing per person, but I don't know.

I was just wondering because when I saw him in Naperville last year, it was one book per person. And since the ticket price included a copy of TPP, that's what I had him sign. At the event in Milwaukee this year, you can either get a copy of The End or a gift certificate to the bookstore hosting the event. I plan on taking the gift certificate and bringing one of my other books for him to sign. I'll bring my husband along and get another book signed. And then get The End signed in Naperville.
